MATTHEW J. DISTEFANO
Matthew J. Distefano is the author of multiple books, including The Wisdom of Hobbits and Mimetic Theory & Middle-earth, winners of the 17th and 18th annual National Indie Excellence Award for best philosophy books. He is the producer and co-host of the Heretic Happy Hour podcast, a regular columnist for Patheos, and the editor-in-chief of The Quollective. He holds an undergraduate degree in Education from California State University, Chico, and spent nearly twenty years in social work before focusing on publishing and farming full time.
